Temple Pershing Mining Company Partners with Dean Daniel at Unbeaten to Support Mental Health
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Temple Pershing Mining Company (TPMC) has announced a collaboration with Dean Daniel, the founder of Unbeaten, to support mental health initiatives, in response to the administration of Lindsey Oil Refinery (LOR).
TPMC has been engaged in discussions regarding a potential acquisition of LOR since September 2025, when the refinery entered administration. The closure has led to the loss of hundreds of jobs, creating significant and ongoing impact on workers, families, and the wider community.
Recognising the pressures created by job losses, financial uncertainty, and business disruption, particularly during the winter months, Temple Pershing is raising awareness of available mental health support services. Unbeaten, alongside Tough To Talk, are organisations that focus on mental health support, with a particular focus on men. Dean Daniel is a mental health advocate, speaker, and ambassador who draws on his own experiences of adversity, resilience, and recovery. Through his work, Dean promotes honest dialogue around mental well being, emphasising the importance of connection, access to support, and reducing the stigma surrounding mental health.
Regardless of the outcome of the Lindsey administration process, TPMC is championing mental health networks to support individuals navigate challenging times.
Chairman, Kenneth Roberts and Simon Robinson CEO of Temple Pershing Mining Company, said: “The administration of Lindsey Oil Refinery has had a profound impact on many individuals and families. Throughout our lives, we all will face some type of challenge, but job uncertainty places a particular type of strain on mental well-being. This collaboration with Dean is about ensuring people have access to support when they need it most.
