Temple Pershing Mining Company continue exploration of Kwango Province DRC

Temple Pershing Mining Company (“TPMC”) has been exploring possible mining potential in Kwango Province for many months. As a company experienced in Africa operations and a presence in many countries across the continent the team at TPMC were well aware this would be a testing project to embark on due to such a remote area of Democratic Republic of Congo. Rich in diamonds and gold the province has been mined by alluvial miners for generations with minimal interest from commercial mining companies. TPMC have not just been focused on possible mining locations but on a much larger project encompassing large scale infrastructure projects which would include building a commodities hub with runway, new roads, solar energy farm, new bridges and even new homes and medical centres.
TPMC Africa Envoy Luis De Vierna is currently in Kwango with a team focusing on specific exploration and survey tasks while developing existing relationships in the province. While waiting for equipment to arrive from Spain Luis is also working with a local school to see how TPMC can enhance the education facilties possibly by introducing remote learning utliizing AI.

Simon Robinson and Kenneth Roberts, Directors of TPMC said “ We have years of experience in Democratic Republic of Congo and have a long history of working with the country in the mining and commodities sector. Kwango has to be one of the most remote regions of Africa seperated from Angola by a river. Angola is known for producing some of the worlds highest quality diamonds and just over the river in Kwango aluvial diamond miners have worked for generations. Their main issues have always been acheiving a fair price for their product within country. With the addition of a state of the art TPMC commodities hub we aim to attract aluvial miners to our facility where they will be able to trade with our buyers for top prices, in a safe secure environment. Our jets will travel in and out of the secure compound on a weekly basis taking commodities and bringing supplies back for the locals including food, water and other goods. This is a huge project and probably the largest undertaking for TPMC from a logistical perspective. We will be pulling together some of the most experienced minds to work with the TPMC team and our sister company Temple Pershing Infrastructure to form a strategic plan that we hope will enhance the region for generations to come. We will be invesring back into the community and enhancing the lives of the local people”.
